New Things Coming

I don’t intend to leave WordPress, as the people here are way too fun. But I will be doing some things differently. For instance, because I am a Fine Arts student, you’ll get to see some really sweet artwork. Like this!

Now because not everyone was able to get the meaning of the piece, the painting that I sketched this for will look a bit different. But I loved this sketch so much that I can’t just throw it away. I’m not sure what I’ll do with it, but I’ll figure it out.
In other news, I am excited to announce that my first planned agency for the novel I’m working with is the same that did City of Bones! The second would be the agents behind Emmanuel’s Veins. It is easily one of my favorite books of all time, if not my favorite. Never heard of it? No worries! Because that will be this month’s “Read and Review”!

The Thing: A Short Horror Story (Literary Lion: Escape)

I need to run, but I can’t move.

Why can’t I move?

It’s in here with me, and here I am, stuck and unable to move. I can’t die, not now, not here. I have so much more to do. I want to live!

Web Comic Concept Art?!

This is the beginning concept of the character Jack. Just an idea of the art style, I’ll probably be less sketchy in the final product. I probably won’t be doing the shading by hand for the comic, as I did here.IMG_1895

Apologies for low-qual. I took it with a phone. 😐 It happens. Thoughts?

This was about how grim the very original concept for him was, perhaps a little lessened, but alright. As stated before, he is a supernatural being, neither alive nor dead. Bullets don’t really do much. Therefore, “amateurs.” Look back to the original post to see more on “Jack”, coming October 2015. Maybe.

Web Comic?!

So I am considering something really different starting this October. I am considering starting a webcomic called “Jack”, about a private eye who is, in fact, a supernatural creature. Slight twist: all his clients are supernatural as well. He has a few powers, most of them based on the fact that he is ghost-like and two of them purely based on the creepy factor.

Heaven and Hell still would exist, but ghosts would just be a result of recycled brainwaves and gases coming from the body post-mortem. After all, the extra energy from the body has to go somewhere, right? At least, that’s the plan for now.

Yes, I am secretly an artist. It’s a good time. My style is a bit of Tim Burton and a bit of noir / grunge. I think it could work out really well.

What do you guys think? Let me know in the comments!
